Types of people during lock-down (Part 2)
THE
YOGI
These peaceful followers of Ramdev Baba start their day with Surya namaskar followed by a proper diet throughout the day. They believe in fitness and make it a point to meditate once a day. Few of them pretend themselves to practice yoga where in reality the only one thing they effortlessly do is Shavasana* Pun intended
*Shavasana is an asana of resting the body on the
ground effortlessly with closed eyes.
THE WORK FROM HOME HUMAN
“I want to go back to work” is the first thought that comes to most of them before switching on the system. These people end up in working overtime due to speedy internet (ahem ahem). They spend most of the time achieving metrics and attending meetings. And meetings at home surprisingly lets the boss know what’s cooking at home – right from the cooker whistling to the sneeze after the tadka. Usually dresses formally (from neck to waist) in the hope that National Anthem won’t be played during the meeting.
THE JUST BEFORE LOCK-DOWN MARRIED COUPLE
These include a fortunate husband and a chattering wife.
Fortunate because they have saved a lot. Be it the monthiversary or the
honeymoon surprise. But these fortunate ones have learnt cooking and washing
dishes in this short span of time which they hadn’t tried for all these years. On
the other hand, the beautiful new brides are now almost tired asking their
wedding photographer for the photos and highlight, just to show off her inspired
by Sabyasachi lehenga.
THE GAMER
Harmless but the noisy ones specially while playing an
interactive game like PUBG. They wake up with a goal of completing certain game
level. Most of them keep snacks and water nearby. A chicken dinner is all that matters to them irrespective of they
themselves being vegetarian or non-vegetarians
Not to mention, this lock-down has united family members and friends
with the game ‘LUDO’ This game has got a special recognition by the elders. The young businessmen got no chill. Arranging special slots for housie and
earning money is their new way of income.
THE CHEF
They begin their day with a thought on what has to be
prepared. A sweet dish or a spicy one? These vibrant people wake up thinking
about trying a new dish. These people are in high demand within their family. Initiating
a fight with them might end up in not getting to taste that finger licking dish (so be careful) Not everyone is lucky enough to have them at home. But the question is
do you have such a friend who makes you jealous with their mouthwatering food
status.
THE BANG EXPERIMENTER
You might have at least one friend who has experimented with their hair during the lock-down. Bangs have turned out to be the most experimented one. This is usually started with great enthusiasm but might turn out to be an embarrassing one. These courageous people are the ones who believe that the lock-down won't end any soon and it is with this hope that they usually start the procedure. If turned out to be a success they click almost a few hundred images only to post few on social media with caption : Not everyone can pull off bangs, but I surely can. -Unknown.
THE ARTSY HUMAN
Talented ones with the ability to transform a blank
paper to an amazing work. They spent most of the time with colors and canvas.
At the end of the day all they have are few unread messages, several missed calls and many drawings and paintings.
