All reading this post are thoroughly aware of the war that is being fought between the humanity and the virus that has a crown like spikes on the outer surface with diameter ranging from 65-125nm. This virus can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, religion, caste, background etc. This smart virus has been using the multilevel marketing strategy to spread this disease. We have doctors, nurses, medical workers, paramedics staffs, police force and many others working day and night against prevailing this pandemic. In spite of knowing the consequence of being affected by this virus, we have with us smart people who are ever ready in violating the rules, set by the government. Smart problems require smart solutions. And the Navi Mumbai Police with the help of Drone Squad have made their work easy.

Thinking of what is this Drone Squad? No worries. By reading the article, you will surely understand and see how it works. So, let’s get started.

Drone squad is formed by the Navi Mumbai Police and consists of a group of certified licensed experts in flying drones. The drone surveillance helps in capturing clear pictures of people gathered in a crowd. The drone can not only capture images but also can shoot videos from top view. This helps in knowing their route and their locality. Work gets easier when one of them is caught.

Flying drone is pretty interesting right? Yeah, indeed it is but not an easy task. The drone pilot, have to check the drone GPS signal, frequency and calibration while flying the drone. But there arises an issue mainly in the city area as the frequency of mobile tower is also the same i.e. 2.4ghz. This causes some glitches and might even disconnect the signal. While flying it, the pilots always need to be alert with drone ground station. Now what is that? A ground station is a commander, which coordinates and sends signal. Later the ground station is connected to a mobile device to see the aerial view.

Now that you’ve realized how challenging it is, I’ll tell you few more reason to add to it. Controlling the drone and camera at the same time is one of the difficult parts. Loosing control over either one of them, will lead to crashing the drone. Hence, controlling is super important while flying the drone. The drones used are advanced with many inbuilt features. This kind of drones are mainly used by the ARMY for surveillance.

The climate plays a big role in managing the drone. As temperature rises, the drone pilots face another issue i.e. heat up of the drone battery which might puff up the battery.

At times, kites and eagles come across to hit the drone; the drone pilots should be alert and get the drone into line of sight.

After all the days hard work, comes the post production. Editing the content for later use.

Cops try their best in forcing people to stay home. But there exist few photogenic humans, who are stubborn and go out for no reason. Drone pilots try their best in capturing their faces as clearly as possible which is shared with the police. If the drone pilot finds a group of people (mostly after 5pm) at a certain place, the message is immediately passed to the police along with the location. The police then take the required action.

The shoot also takes place at Mumbai-Pune express Highway to track down the vehicle numbers. The drone squad are provided with all the support and safety precautions during their work by the Navi Mumbai police.

The drone squad also makes sure to shoot the efforts of cops who are trying their level best in encouraging people and in sharing positive messages. Below video clearly shows how the cops are trying to entertain people, with their motivating messages. Videos like these creates an alert in peoples mind.

This drone shoot makes it clear how the police is trying their level best in preventing the citizens for COVID-19. The drone squad is doing a wonderful job which should force each one of us to stay home.
